Running counter to modern western yoga fads, The Silent School offers somatic education, emotionally aware meditation, and yoga built on universal truths.
What Is It?
A practice that teaches you to stop fighting your body and instead use gravity and breath to effortlessly undo years of stored tension and pain. It offers a unique path to true freedom where you stop trying to achieve perfect poses and finally learn to listen to your own inner wisdom to find lasting ease and vitality.
The Source
The teachings draw from the work of Vanda Scaravelli. More than a ‘certification’ this is a life long practice of learning and mentorship. For the past seven years I have studied within the tradition under Caroline Hutton, Diane Long and currently Kay Campitelli.
We’ll teach you to trust your body’s intelligence, to move with ease rather than effort.

What People Are Saying
“After a busy week, it was sublime to arrive back in my body. Isobel’s caring approach on the live call really helped me feel the magic of Vanda’s teachings on the spine in my being.”
— David, Apprentice Member since May
“The tree-pose suddenly makes sense, that is clearly how to practice it. Before I was always, unstable, not enjoying, no getting into the pose. But now, it is a pleasure. And it strengthens the foot and ankle, which is beneficial.”
— Paulien, Apprentice Member since March
“It is possible to have a different attitude to yoga in which a new intelligence not imposed by authority, but born from interest, attention and sensibility, will emerge.”
— Vanda Scaravelli
